Tavern Hall at present consists of and Exhibition Hall, that is used to hold art exhibitions of local as well as outside artists and a Book House named “Kitab Ghar”.

To make available the works and literature of the writers of the state, Kitab Ghar was inaugurated 2nd May 2022 by Rakesh Kanwar, Secretary, Language and Culture Department, Himachal Pradesh, in the exhibition hall of Gaiety Theatre.
Books by Himachal writers, books written on Himachal, and books and materials related to research done on Himachal are available to read and buy in this book house. .
KITAB GHAR
In this, 400 books of 115 authors of Himachal and around two thousand books of various other subjects published by the Academy and Language Department are available in it.
Book house opens every day from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
